Aihe on: · Topic of this course: »Information design is defined as the art and science of preparing information so that it can be used by human beings with efficiency and effectiveness.« Robert E. Horn This course is the advanced training course of »Informaation visualisointi I«, where we delved already into gathering, filtering, and presenting information in accordance with effective design principles in order to understand and communicate the essence of that information. Now we will muster all our skills and talents as designers, combine them with the rigor and problem solving ability of a scientist or mathematician and bring the curiosity, research skills and doggedness of a scholar to our work.
Be inspired! »Information Is Beautiful - Ideas, issues, knowledge, data - visualized!«, by David McCandless, a London-based author, writer and designer (data journalist and information designer).
